Sloppy Fields is a cozy, laid-back farming simulator with adult themes, developed and published by PixelPanzone. It was released in early access on June 17, 2025, on Steam and itch.io.
Story
After their father’s disappearance, Nico and Leo inherit his old farm and a huge debt. The farm is located in the Sloppy Fields: legendary lands where a cast of colorful furry (anthropomorphic) companions reside. The brothers discover that becoming great farmers requires more than traditional work, including keeping the farm’s inhabitants “productive.”
Gameplay
The game is a laid-back incremental/tycoon-style farming simulator. Core elements include gathering crops (such as carrots), feeding animals, managing stamina by sleeping to advance days and accelerate production, upgrading farming skills and automation for efficiency, and expanding across multiple biomes. There are 5 races of animals to breed and sell, tied to different farming biomes. It features hand-painted pixel art, various animations, and management of employees and matrons (leader characters) to maintain farm output.
